An accelerated introduction to guitar building. Students build their own guitar from parts prepared for them. Inlay work an are covered as well as minor fret dressing, nut and saddle making as well as how to properly setup your guitar.You will also receive a tutorial on French Polishing enabling you to apply a finish at home.

Students make a guitar from a kit. Sides, neck and other parts will be pre-processed to allow completion of the guitar during the two weeks.

Students will receive instruction on finishing in the French Polish technique and may attend demonstrations of how the parts they used were fashioned.

Students work with the instructors to develop a syllabus of topics they wish to cover. The Two Week Repair course gives students more supervised experience at a wider variety of repairs, and allows more topics to be covered than is possible during the One Week Course.
Instruments in need of repair are available at the shop, however students are encouraged to bring their own instruments to fix and learn from.
